About this piece
People always joke about what archaeologists (or aliens, or whatever) of the future will think of us. Do we really have to wait that long? Go dig a hole in any public place and you're likely to find evidence of us that will last quite a while. We like to separate ourselves from all the other creatures on earth, but we're all in the same boat. Will the future be bright for any of us?
Fingers crossed.
